Sorry about not updating my blog sooner.  I was going to make some changes and after trying several different formats I decided I liked the original best.

I’ve been in Florida for a few weeks now visiting my brother Kenny and his wife Sharon.  I did make a quick trip up to Georgia last week, but more on that later.  The weather has been great, with a few afternoon thunderstorms every couple days or so.  I have spent most of my time soaking up the sun in their pool, and schooling my brother on the fine art of Bass Fishing….. lol  I do believe that bass fishing is my new favorite pass time.  We have hooked into some really nice ones and have actually landed a few.  Even though we didn’t catch something every time we went out, just spending time with my brother was great in its self.  I did get to spend an afternoon with someone who holds a corner of my heart.  Donnie Kruger and I were stationed together at Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan.  I hadn’t seen him in nearly 25 years.  We sat and talked about old times and caught up on what we each have been doing recently.  It was great seeing him again.  The rest of my time has been spent fixing a couple issues that popped up with my Jeep.  It seems that the back shocks went bad and with driving around, the back tires became cupped, making for some crazy loud road noise.  But, I got the problem diagnosed, bought new shocks, which my brother and I changed ourselves, bought a new set of tires, and the ol’ Jeepster is back in action.  Took it to a dealership and had them run a diagnostic on it to make sure there were no other problems, and it passed with flying colors.  My next stop is back up to Georgia to see some more friends and do some exploring.  I’ll try and get back on schedule with posting….
