Outer Banks Visit !

My second stop on my adventure was to the Outer Banks, to spend some time with my high school bestie, Martha and her family.

The first night a storm rolled in and provided some great photos.  In the morning we went to the North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island.  It was a great stop since it was raining outside.  We had a delicious lunch at Big Al’s, where the décor screamed 1950’s soda shop.  We spent the following day at the beach.  Lots of sun and fun in the sand ! ! A very cool ride on a ferry took us to Ocracoke Island and we enjoyed touring the island in a golf cart, (Martha’s driving hasn’t changed since high school…lol).  Lots of souvenirs and awesome memories resulted in a great week.
