Well my adventure begins today !  First stop is Elkton Maryland to see my good friend Marty.   I left at about 5:00am and headed south.  The Pennsylvania Turnpike sure does have a lot of toll stops… I pulled into Marty’s place about 6 hours later, and the adventure began.  Our first stop was the Scottish Games.  I had a great time watching the Massing of the Bands and the Caber Toss.  We strolled around and tried some of the Scottish food.  I had a really good time.

The next day we went to the Fair Hill Natural Resource Management Area.  Amazing ! ! Over 5,000 acres of woods and streams, with open fields and rock outcroppings.  Hiking, biking, horseback riding trails intertwine throughout.  Wildlife all around and beautiful scenery everywhere you looked.   Perfect start to my adventure.
