Gaylord Opryland Hotel !

If you ever get the chance to stay at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, don’t pass it up.  It is its own destination vacation.  Over 9 acres of indoor gardens, with waterfalls, a riverboat ride, indoor/outdoor pools.  Stores, 17 restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops and a golf course.  When we pulled up I was in awe at how huge the place was.  After checking in we had some time before we had to head over to the Grand Ol’ Opry, so we took a stroll around the indoor gardens, and jumped on the boat for a little tour of the place.   They had an Alice’s Adventure in Wonderland theme for part of the summer in the garden.  It was very cool.

The following morning I woke up early and took a nice walk around the rest of the gardens.  It was so peaceful and the folks were out feeding the Koi and watering the different plants and trees.  I had a really good time at this hotel and could have stayed for a week without ever having to go outside, if it I could just win the lottery.  Definitely worth it.
